I¡¯m in Iowa, your future neighbor to the north. My new house was built in 1996 with restrictive covenants on the deed that said no outdoor antenna¡¯s, exposed trash cans, etc. ?20 years after the original construction,?the developer didn¡¯t renew the CC&Rs and no HOA was ever established so I got lucky and they were allowed to expire. My realtor and our new neighbors had no idea the neighborhood was now free from oppression. Hopefully you can read the actual documents find a similar situation down there.?
