In the schematic this website it shows White as TX and Green as RX - opposite from what Robs website says. I will disconnect the White wire and connect the Green wire and try again. I don¡¯t see an LED on the GPS puck but there may be one there hiding under the ¡°GPS¡± label characters. Also I will know the wiring is correct when I see the Green LED on the mt8k light up and stay on.

?? A quick search on GPS BR355 shows a module with a 6-pin miniDIN. Is that how yours is configured?
?? If this is a 6-pin MiniDIN (according to the couple of websites) pins 1 (Gnd) & 2 (V+) are used to power the GPS puck.

? ? ? The sites reference an optional (additional) PS-2 to RS232 adapter.? Are you using it, or did you make your own?
? ? ?? ? The BR-355S4(5Hz) uses a proprietary pin-out on the PS2, which cannot be connected directly to any laptop or PC without the use of a cable set (USB or RS232 + PS2 for power).
From your description of your setup, are you sure the GPS has a fix (BR355 says it has an LED indication of fix)?
According to this site:
?? Green is TX from the GPS (output to attached device) and White is RX to the GPS (input from attached device).
