Ohboyohboy, that seems convoluted. Thank you for the reply, Rob. Not sure if I would have figured this out by myself via trial and error. I was not going to use the null-modem cable in addition to the USB one. But I would have just connected it all and then tried to Read the config.?
So, assuming it reads ok, I disconnect the cable from the RTG after the read. When I want to write the new config, I click Write and only then plug it back into the RTG?
