The key to #3 is that you MUST reset the processor without removing power to the Bluetooth module.?

That reset switch is the component that allows it to happen.
I think my case (from way back when) had a hole already drilled, but not properly aligned.?
The hole in the case to allow the reset function to be accessed without removing the case, but also compromises the case
I found a little rubber stopper to place over the hole in normal use, and only remove it when I need to reset the micro.
The other option (once all else is configured), would be software reset.
As for the baud rate, I can only guess that the module default is 38400, and the micro sets the baud rate t match the serial interface of the MTT4 defaults during startup.
