Good tip thanks for calling it out I wondered why that switch was in there, just drilled a hole to access it better. I noticed this morning I can connect successfully at 19200 but not 38400 I haven't programmed anything I haven't put any jumpers and haven't tried to access the programming on the HC-05 went to bed unplugged it at 38400 and this morning 19200 works, I haven't played with these little modules in detail but do wonder why the shift in speed assume the reset button will clear that matter up!
as for the religious matters of operating systems.. I haven't found any OS that is perfect, noticed in another thread the USB cable drivers are getting sketch with windows 11 always a game of catch up with hardware i/o
why I am using the free old linux to get this hardware functioning!
