Starting next week, to fly .....even in the US....we need a real ID (same things I need for a Passport)

I am divorced and remarried so I have to show the progression from?the name on my birth certificate to my ID now.
So I need my marriage license to my ex.....our divorce papers?and then my marriage license to Rick....which I have.
If the asswipe Republicans have their way.....I will need all that to vote in the future.

My license is not a real ID but I think next time it is renewed I will get one.?

They also have Passport cards (which are cheaper) but those can only be used for travel to Canada and I forget where else.....
But not for flights....only driving across.

I have no plans on going anywhere.....or getting on any sort of aircraft but with the way this country is headed....
I think we should have Passports.? If anything.....not that it makes a difference to these bozos....to prove my citizenship

I think I can go to AAA for both the real ID when the time comes?and the Passport.

It was my divorce papers where I had my hangup.? I have no idea where mine are....I probably tossed them at some point.
And I had no idea where to get a copy.? Not sure if I would have had to go to city hall or the courts where we got divorced.?
And of course it would have cost $$ to get a copy.
Luckily Kevin (my ex) had his and he gave it to me to make copies.

I worry so much about my grandson-in-law (to be).? He is a citizen but he is brown (he is Dominican)....
Light brown but still brown and that is who these assholes are kidnapping without any reason and sending to prisons in other countries without due process or any cause at all.
I know they wanted to go to Dominican Republic to visit family but he is afraid of?getting back into the country so that is now on hold.
Rose has a passport (she is 4) but they haven't gotten the baby one yet.

One good thing.....another month that my social security check was deposited today.? I should not have to worry month to month if it is coming or not.

I stopped by the grocery store to stock up some more today.? People I see on social media have been saying there have been empty shelves.?
I saw none of that but did see an increase in (especially) beef prices and the meat case was not as full of beef as normal.?
I have been trying to empty my big freezer downstairs but today I bought a ton of meats so emptying it is now out of the question
