I think I am getting that new phone. They sent me a special for $38 a month for 2 years for the iphone 16, I didn't think that was to bad. The crack on mine has gotten bigger so I think its time. ?

They are predicting that by mid June, we are going to have lots of empty shelves and it is going to get worse as time goes by
And they things that we have will go up in?cost.

They think just because it says made in the US that the tariffs won't affect it but it will.
Take that Florida orange...
ok....it is grown in the US but the packaging comes from another country....
Parts for the trucks that ship those oranges come from other countries...
The fertilizer they use to grow....
If all those things go up in price....yes, those oranges will go up in price....
Just about everything here is going to be affected....if it even comes into the country.

Here in the states, boycotting?certain businesses is working. Their?revenues are going down.? It is 100% affecting their?sales.
I am just one of millions who are doing the boycotting.

I will continue the boycott those businesses when I can.? Can't always be avoided but when I can.....I don't buy from them.

I just bought a desk chair.? I got it at Staples.....and it was cheaper?than a comparative chair on Amazon.
But that was because one of Shawns friends works there....
And he delivered it ?
Even without his discount.....the chair was only $6.00 more than one on Amazon

I used to stock up but I don't anymore. I only buy what? hope I can eat but even that is becoming less. I am finding I buy it and try it and give the rest to hubby, saving him money but costing me a lot. I am best sticking to fruits and veggies altho my toasted tomato sandwiches have settled well.
Most of the produce I have been buying is not from the US like it always was. I find people are avoiding the US products. Strawberries were dirt cheap this week but they sat rotting in the bins, no one is buying US. ?
I still buy from Amazon but not as much as in the past. Hubby ordered alka seltzer this week and it was $3.00 cheaper than in any store here and its delivered that day or the next right to the door. I just ordered knee hi nylons because much cheaper than in the store. Walmart wanted $10 for one pair and i got 10 pairs for $10 on Amazon. I will never wear them all so if the kids need them for the wedding I have extras.
I don't go into the grocery stores like in the past I shop Amazon and Costco......lol

I was reading an article this morning that a bathing suit (on?some website...I forget which)?that cost $119.00 now will cost over $300.00 with the tariffs

Most countries that used to get things from the US have found the same things elsewhere so this is going to affect the US for years and years.
Even if the turd brain gets rid of the tariffs.....no one is going to import from us anymore.....which is hurting many many businesses.....
Businesses that will never recover.

I have 100% changed my way of buying.? I am trying to buy more local than from big chains and I am trying to avoid companies that support the turd.....
Can't avoid them 100% but my purchases from those companies has gone way down.....I seldom buy from Amazon anymore....

?but we still have imports from the US but I think many retailers have found other sources for produce and many are just buying Canadian products. The grocery stores have Canadian? products listed on the shelves. I still buy what I need being as my eating is still so wonky but I do notice the produce I do buy is not from the US.

I worry so much about my grandson-in-law (to be).? He is a citizen but he is brown (he is Dominican)....

If I recall all we needed was a birth certificate...... Its been years since we got ours and they have expired because we now use Nexus. Same idea as the passport but not good for air travel but great for land crossings?
Ever since i had surgery 10 years ago a bra hurts the incision so I go without. I still wear a sports bra type thing but its not tight like a sports bra. The doctor tried telling me the soreness is from the radiation but I don't believe that.

It¡¯s 85 for our high today and dropping down to 69 this evening. ?
