Ferns like humid tropical weather.? Mine do awesome in the heat of the summer. I love the look of them but they shed.? Where I have them on my deck is not a big deal.... They hang over the railings so when they shed....it just goes on the grass. I have had them inside and they make a huge mess....I had to vacuum under them just about every day. ? Stick your finger in the soil to see if they need water. ? In the heat of the summer here.....I water outside?every single day.....sometimes twice a day if it is very hot... At least the plants/flowers on my porch since they don't get any rain. This time of year, I don't water every day as they don't dry out as fast.
