I have a bunch of perennials out front and even more out back along the fence
But?I still plant a bunch of annuals?
?
I cannot believe my lilacs this year.? They are full full full of buds....
They should bloom in a week or so....
I have no idea why....
I did cut back and thin out the plants last year but I have done that before and they never bloomed like this.
We planted them the first year we lived here and they have never ever bloomed like this.

It is too bad the blooms don't last long....lilacs are one of my favorite flowers

In the back yard we have mainly plants that come back. Black eyed susans, hostas, tall grasses. Iris tulips roses cosmos ?nuns and the list goes on. The kids get me a couple to hang on the front porch.

My dad has always called my house a jungle?
My mom was the same way.? I wish I could have taken all her plants but then I really would be living in a jungle?
I did take a lot of them though

Ferns do very well on our front porch. I usually have house plants in the sunroom and then all the flowers that come?back yearly........?

I have ferns out back on the deck.? I find them messier than the flowers
I do have a small fern on?the plant stand on the front porch too but I like flower hangars out front
If I can find what I like....I need 4 of them out front

Usually my kids get me the hanging baskets but anymore I prefer the ferns, not as messy as the flowers. ?

Mid 50's and a dismal day.
It rained overnight and is supposed to clear up and go into the 70's
Off and on Showers expected over the next week or so every day

Did some grocery shopping after dropping Shawn.
And I have a dentist appt at 11.....?
These new teeth need some adjusting (he said they would)

Might go on a hunt for hangars.? Since the nursery closed....I cannot find any that I like.
I like?full hangars with a mixture of flowers and I just can't find what I want.
There is a farm with a big greenhouse about 30 min from me....
Might take a ride this afternoon......we'll see what time Shawn gets out of work.
