I agree.
They went to Vegas before they had Rose and we all thought they should have just gotten?married there.

The issue is...
Her sperm donor is back in her life and he just had a big white wedding (his first at 44 yrs old)
She was in the wedding and got a taste of it and now that is what she wants.
This is costing them a fortune.? I know Ron has a really good job and makes good $$ but with the way the economy is now and will be in the foreseeable future....
It is stupid to waste this much $$ on a wedding.?
They rent....
For what this wedding is costing them, they could have a HUGE down payment on a house.

And sadly....while we all love them....
No one really wants to go.
Even my daughter is having issues with it all.? She has pet issues to think about.

They live 4 hrs away from the venue and will have to spend at least one night away.
The cats will be fine but their dog can't be left alone.
Ok sure....they can find a pet friendly hotel but it is not fair for Lili to be left in a hotel room for long periods like the rehearsal and the wedding.
Can't leave her in the car.....
What are they going to do with her?
Even leaving her with me.....I am 90 minutes away.

I think they should have a small wedding and be done with it. ? If they¡¯ve been together for 10 yrs anyway, they are married by common law, right? ? ?So, why have a big wedding??? ?Makes no sense to me at all. ??

The venue she just had to have is not local.? It is about 90 minutes from me....
Like?3.5-4 hrs from the western part of the state where she lives and works.

My dad won't be able to travel that far....it is over 2 hrs from him.
I hope the place it handicapped accessible if they want my nephew to go.....but I am sure it is....

I love her dearly but this whole thing is so bridezilla.....
They have been together over 10 yrs....have 3 kids....
Just have a small ceremony with family....

Hell....if she wants on the water, I can get her the Rose Garden for cheap (since I am a resident) and she could have a small party in the carriage house.

?Found the dress a couple months ago and its not quite to the floor so my dang feet show.? Now i?just need something for the shower and shoes for the wedding jewelry and make up......lol
Maybe? will buy some make up and do it myself.?

And I do plan on wearing sandals.? Her venue is on the water on Cape Cod....
I think the ceremony (weather permitting) is going to be outside with the ocean as a backdrop
So I will be walking on grass....thus sandals.....flat sandals....

I wore sandals and a tropical print dress for my moms funeral.? She would not have wanted black....
She was too vibrant for that and that is why I wore what I wore and not all black.

Remember platform shoes?? I had one with a 6" heel and a 4" platform.....used to wear them in high school....

I bought my dress for the wedding and told Lisa I have?new sandals and she said nope don't wear them. Go buy a pair of wedge like shoes........lol
I was hoping to go with the gang for hair and make up because I have no make up but nope the full bridal party is going and no more room at the salon.
I am not a dress up person and? don't even own? a pair of slacks, I am just jeans and tights.......lol?Slacks would / will be ok for the shower but not the wedding. She is getting married at a winery so I want comfy shoes for walking through the grass.........

We had really bad storms overnight with lots of flooding in areas. I did hear it but didn't keep me awake. Still overcast ?but 55 out there and going up to 66 so Alexa says........lol
No plans for today altho I do need to shop for shoes and a shower outfit but waiting to see what these meds are going to do to me......
