I am or was a very small eater and? have bought those TV dinners and they didn't fill me not even a little bit. I thought they would be an option for me but stopped buying them because I was always hungry after I ate.

I am sure if or when the day comes Lisa will take us in rather than put us in a home. Both our girls have worked in homes caring for the elderly / mentally delayed people and Lisa has always said there is no way she would allow us to go into a home. I know they are looking to downsize but want like an inlaw suite .
When they built that home they had 4 girls living home but are now empty nesters. Time sure flies....

Oh one day you will all finally see those worms in the broccoli. I had been told about them but doubted it for several years until that day I seen them and that was after I had washed it. I wash all fruits and veggies before using them ( even bananas )
Here in Canada most do not have insurance to put family into homes so they tend to keep them home and the government will help with someone coming in to help with their care. Our neighbor has help come in 4 and 5 times a day, not sure why but i see them in and out often. She is pretty much bed ridden now but more help comes now since she was in the hospital for a few days recently. Once you go into a home you either pay for your care or they take your pensions to cover it.

Want to hear something funny? ? Chris, not all that long ago ?told me he doesn¡¯t like peas, spaghetti, meatballs and meat sauce and so many other things and NOW he is telling me he will eat things I would normally fix even peas! ? I took away the ¡®lost¡¯ wallet from a couple of months ago. ?He lost it and yesterday had it in his hands. ? The cards in it were void as he found out yesterday when trying to pay for something. ?I¡¯ve told him I will carry his wallet (if he ever finds the new one that is which I KNOW is somewhere in the house). ? It¡¯s the only way I can control what he¡¯s buying and keep him from losing it again and again. ? ? I have his ID card, his driver¡¯s license, his medical cards and the ONE credit card that is still active for him. ? I told him I didn¡¯t want to do this but feel I have no choice and he agreed with me. ? ? ?I try to give him freedom to do things and all so he won¡¯t feel he is not needed anymore. ? He still mows the yard, picks up the poop, works outside doing whatever he wants but he can¡¯t keep losing his wallet(s) and a phone (handset for landline). ? He is giving up his big computer as it¡¯s so terrible old and slower than molasses now¡ He can¡¯t look things up as he doesn¡¯t remember how to use a browser and his retention is getting soooo short. ? ?He told a tech yesterday that he has to have me with him as I am his memory. ? ?You know I just really feel badly about taking so much away from him but have no choice. ? I don¡¯t feel he¡¯s ready to be put into a home as he can still dress himself, shave, take showers and make his own lunch or whatever and do things here to help me out. ? ?He doesn¡¯t drive at all and he doesn¡¯t get lost or roam. ? ?So, I will keep him here at home until I cannot do so anymore. ?
