OK...I listen VERY closely to teaching entities when they say sumpin that
isn't congruent with other stuff already on the big board in ocean of mind.
This is left brained, logical assertion Abe is making here...with hard
core belief content...and when a dolphin swallers ANY beliefs without
chewin and discernin with his or her own brain, there's the real
opportunity for signal distortion and a wee bit o metaphysical tummy ache.

So that's part of what I do...chew and discern.

And so when Abe says THIS deliberate creation gig is my DOMINANT intention,
my MAIN purpose, for being here in physical form, I get an immediate BUZZZZ
on my incoming bullshit detector...cause I know of a couple of other
dominant intentions I have as well...and not just me, either.

In fact, if I HAD to rank em (and happily I don't) of the big 3 dominant
intentions in MY reality, which are the purposes of learning NonDual
Awareness, Unconditional Love and Conscious Creation, I'd definitely put
Conscious Creation as number 3 on the list.

Why? Cause I know about the Magickian's Error...the focusing on learning
how to consciously create reality while having a black and heartless
heart...an error made by those beings who focus on Abe's dominant intention
and somehow miss Christ's and Buddhas. A lotta great metaphysical
teachers, including Buddha and Christ both, have warned about that one.

And there HAVE been plenty of folks (and are today) who have used conscious
creation principles in attempts to create MORE at the cost of other folks
LESS. For example, during the cold war, for example, the Soviets were
apparently very interested indeed in the military and strategic application
of paranormal phenomena and talents. For another example, surf over on the
net to any of the Black Magick / Satanic Rite sites...and there are scads
of em...and you begin to get a sense that this ain't exactly where you
might want your kiddies hangin out after a tough day at school.

Now this wee little critique is not to denigrate Abe, or Abe's teaching.
Hell, that's why I BOUGHT the books...cause I think Abe's riff is kinda the
cat's whiskers, and adding this piece of the metaphysical puzzle is a
beautiful thing...for THIS dolphin anyway. How happy, and how grateful, I
am to have stumbled my way into this stuff...and thanks to Jerry and Esther
who decided to do what they have done so that I could grok this stuff too.

But I'm a both/and guy rather than an either/or guy...and when I find an
apparent paradigm clash between teaching entities or metaphysical systems,
I know I'm on some kinda chaos edge...either mine, or theirs, or both.

Personally (grin) I think that the chaos edge is where all the juice is as
we hurtle on through the void on this big blue marble. The chaos edge is
where the KNOWING stops and the LEARNING begins...for me (definitely), for
you (mebbe)...and (grin) even for Abe (mebbe).

Cause when you come right down to it, when you bottom line this whole
metaphysical deal, at the end of the day who...whether as an
individual...or as a blended being...or even as a non-physical committee of
100...really does know it ALL anyway?

Am I allowed to say that?

Hi all my fine friends,
I HAVE AN IDEA!
I used caps because i am excited not yelling.
Let me set it up first.
In AA we are taught that resentments are our biggest problem.
um ok, what do we do about them? Let'em our good friends
at those hallowed halls of Love say. We say, Yeah. right. How?
THey say "Simple, pray for the person"
We say, "I don't want to pray for that &^%^* fill in the blank.
They say " Do it anyway, if you want to stay sober"
We say, tail between our legs, "ok, what am i supposed to say anyway"
THey say, "I wish all the best for ---------- as i do for me" That's
it.
they recumbent 2 weeks at bedtime. or longer is necessary.
Well, it WORKS! Even for the toughest resentment. Those ones with alot
of emotion attached to them.
You ask, what does this have to do with Dollars?
I think that maybe i have a resentment toward money. One i am not aware
of.
Or anyway an emotional attachment of some sort to it. I want it to be a
certain way,
ie. in my pocket, and it isn't'.
SO i am going to pray for money.
NOt that it comes to me, not that it stays away, that it loses it's kick
for me.
I think then it can flow. Feels right to me.
So here is how that prayer could look.
Dear God, Higher self, Inner Being, Universe, All That Is:
I wish all the best for stinkin money (or however you really feel at the
time)
I want money to be the best crappy stuff it can be.
THanks God or whatever word you use

Now here is what happens. As time goes on, the words change.
As you let go the attachment the charge drains away.
You find yourself really meaning what you are saying.
And all of a sudden, you are free free free.

When this happens, your whole outlook on money changes.

So anyway. I am going to do this. I have nothing to lose.

One thing that happened in my life recently (last weekend). If anyone has

any

insights please share. Okay... I had filled up my hummingbird feeder early
last week, the next day I was sitting outside and this hummingbird flew up
next to me and without even thinking I told just told him that it (nectar)
was on the other side. Okay he flies away, comes back the next day and

finds >it. Then last weekend, he flew into my garage and was trapped,
fluttering

full speed in the window. A friend was over and told me that my hummingbird
was caught and I needed to get him out. So I went out and walked over, told
him not to be afraid , I was going to help him. He was still
fluttering his wings, I couldn't really reach him so I got something to

stand

on and reached up put my hand out, extending a finger and told him it was
okay. He stopped all his motion, dropped down next to my hand and actually
perched himself onto my finger. I stepped down from the stool I was

standing

on and slowly walked outside with him, walked to the feeder and held him
while he drank the nectar for maybe 10 seconds at best, then released him.

It

was such a moving experience for me, my eyes were teared, and I dont think

I >have felt the same joyfulness since I had my children. My friend and
daughter

watched all of this and were just as amazed. He has been coming back quite
often, I have never had such an experience . I know it was important for

me,

just trying to see it and understand it.

Well that's my story , my first. Thanks to all of you for what you bring

into

each of my days. I'm so blessed to have found you.

Yes and we're blessed with your presence too dear Carla!

Animals KNOW, they are sensitive to emotional tone. Your hummingbird (they
are just Sooooo lovely, aren't they!) felt your intention. It knew it was
in trouble and that you offered help. I have experienced this too with
hummingbirds. Their curiosity is forever getting them into trouble. So
inquisitive, they often enter buildings, and just as in your experience, try
to leave by the most obvious exit -- a window --and not by the way they came
in. They are just unable to "compute" glass, and become trapped. I too
have had them cease their struggles when I calmly drew near, and they
allowed me to gently hold them and release them out of doors, the precious
tiny living jewels! :-))

And now I'd like to share another experience I had, Oh! This is twenty years
ago now, but just as clear in my mind and heart as if it were yesterday.

I love to spend time in wild nature, and there is little I Iove better than
leisurely exploration of wild mountain settings. On this particular day I
was way out in the mountains East of Eureka, California, outside the small
town of Orleans, on Red Cap Creek.

The narrow mountain roadway I was using was blocked by an ongoing logging
operation in which a yarder was set up in the road. A yarder is a kind of
mobile crane which retrieves logs by cable from the clearcut below and decks
them for loading onto trucks for transport to market. And though by law a
logging operation is supposed to unblock the roadway for passing public
traffic, it's a hassle for them and I saw no need to pass. I had parked
well beck from the operation and was moving on foot down the brushy edge of
an old clearcut when a raven approached me flying low, vocalizing, and
circling near me, "talking" and encouraging me to follow. It lead me along
the forest edge to a particular nearby location and then moved in very
close, with gutteral excited exclamation.

To my surprise, near the base of a clump of bushes at the forest edge,
utterly silent and unmoving on the ground, nestled another raven, eyeing me
steadily. To the cacophonous accompaniment of my newly-acquired escort, I
edged to within a few feet of the bird on the ground, and saw that it was
held by the tip of one toe in the steel jaws of a rusty leghold trap.

Moving slowly, love in my heart, the bird unresisting, I held its folded
wings to its body with both hands while I depressed the trap's spring with
my foot, releasing cruel steel jaws.

Standing with black beauty in my hands, looking into deep avian eyes,
appreciating irridescent purple sheen of delicately arranged plumage, with
the bird's excited mate circling fifteen feet above my head, I gently lofted
my charge into the air. It took easily to its wings, there was a brief
aerial embrace above my head, and in sudden and total silence the happy
couple made haste to absent themselves.

With deep satisfaction I penned a short note on a page of the pocket
notebook I always carry, ripped the page from its spiral binding, extracted
two one-dollar bills from my wallet, and stooped to leave them, folded
together with the note, in the trap's jaws.

The note read: "An otherwise uninjured raven was caught here by the toe.
Meaning no disrespect to you, and the raven being worth far more to me alive
and free than dead to you, I released it to the grateful company of its
mate."

The single most helpful and important idea I got from the Health, Body and
Weight Tape is this:

Whenever you are going to eat something, state your intentions of how you
want to feel, how you want your body to look and that you want the food to
be delicious and provide the most benefit to your body possible. Then as
you choose, check how you feel in regards to the choices available to you,
eat what feels good and leave the rest. Does this mean that if you believe
that eating chocolate cake will make you fat, that you will never be able to
eat chocolate cake again? Not at all, you'll notice that sometimes when you
check with your Inner Being that it says, Go Ahead, Eat the chocolate cake
and Enjoy it fully and when you do, it will be Delicious.

And what I've found is that when I do this and Ignore my inner guidance and
eat what I want anyway, even though it didn't feel like the right choice to
make, that it tastes like Nothing, almost like plastic. BUT when I Do
follow my inner guidance whatever I put in to my mouth tastes like nectar
from the Gods. I've also noticed that my portions are smaller, I eat more
often, I drink water naturally in great amounts, that the only other things
that I'm drinking are coffee and occasionally fruit juices but the fruit
juices are almost too sweet for me now. And it's FUN, easy, Fun and I'm
assuming with quick results, since my natural state of being is slim and
healthy and as I focus on enjoying food and enjoying my body it Must Come.

How quickly we confuse this stuff by bringing in a whole bunch of extra
junk, when it really is SO Simple, if it feels good, do it, if it feels bad,
don't do it, or change your thoughts about it until it feels good and Then
do it. Simple, concise and to the point and incredibly easy to do. I LOVE
this stuff.

when money comes in you add it and when it goes out you subtract it. You
are taking score and when you take score you cause a resistance in your
vibration and push more dollars away. When you see dollars coming in your

is a very powerful feeling in your society. But we're here to tell you that
there is no ending to the inflow of abundance, it is like water ever flowing
in to your life."

IN the morning when you wake up, none of you stand out on your porch
frantically breathing in because you are afraid that later in the day there
will be a scarcity of air. You breathe in and you breathe out and think
nothing of it. What we want to get you to understand is that it is the same
thing with dollars, there is no need to go out and hold your breath in an
attempt to hold on to the air incase there is a later lack. You are all
MUCH closer to a financial fortune right now than you are even willing to
dream about for fear that you will be disappointed if it does not come.

Good things come to me. While I don't know all of the answers now, or even
the questions to ask, or even the route it will take, I know that when I get
there the path and easiest route will be clear to me. I know that when I
get there I will be able to figure it out. And when you do That, when you
start each day with That thought life unfolds as a terrific adventure,
abundance, dollars, relationships, health, everything you are wanting will
flow in in incredible wonderful, joy filled ways in to your life experience
and you begin to live as you intended before you came in.

What we would do is before we go to sleep at night we would intend to
release ALL negative thoughts we have ever thought about money.

Negative emotion is your indication from your Inner Being that the action
you are considering is not in harmony with your greater intentions.

How you feel when you pay your bills is a very good indication about where
your balance of thoughts about dollars resides.

When your pocket is empty everything you see you want, but if you had the
dollars in your pocket you would notice how little you actually, truly want,
because what you are wanting is the feeling of feeling good.

So ALL you have to do is find thoughts that make you feel good when you
think about money and you will be inundated with it.

I've been lurking for several months now. I've listened to about sixty tapes and been to a workshop. I have a question. On many of the tapes Abraham talks about us being of the 'Family of Abraham'. Do they mean everybody or are there other 'families'? Anybody have any guesses or info. Also, somebody (netpaul?) mentioned Hitler. I have not heard any references on the tapes I've listened to about him. If somebody could give me some idea of which tapes talk about him I would appreciate it. I would love to hear what all they say.
At the workshop I went to in Chicago in April 1999, they talk about the shootings in Columbine High school. It was fantastic. Did anybody on the list hear that one?

Your story was cool, I had a friend that could talk the spiritual talk and I could reveal anything to, no matter what. She is way cool and pops in and out of my life like a butterfly from here to there. She is enchanting.
Besides her I have yet to meet someone whom I can talk face to face with on this subject, so I turn to my non-physical friends and they are quite fulfilling. But like you said after you were done talking with John the feeling you felt was incredible! Really sharing these paths with someone who can relate and share too is like finding a piece of home here in the physical and we want to hang on to it. Kinda like real unconditional love. Unconditional love is home. To have a friend or be a friend of unconditional love is SUPREME. That must be why it feels so good. I may only see Carmen, my friend, once or twice a year but she is always in my heart as one of the realest people I know. When she pops up again, we talk for hours sharing our adventures and then its off again to explore. People are so cool, it is a gift to get to know another on such levels of intimacy. :):)

Find Your Soulmate Today!

Some of you may remember that I came up with this 6 pointed mandala of
desire as a little tool for focusing on what I am wanting, oh...2 or 3
weeks back.

It's working pretty good (grin).

The six points were labelled HEALTH, WEALTH, WISDOM, FRIENDS, SOULMATE,
VOCATION

Been getting some nice hits on all of 'em...some small...some medium...some
entirely overwhelming.

I'll share just one: on the FRIENDS point.

I've got a small number of guys who I consider true friends...real
brothers. Two of them are probably the ones I can get nekkid with the
most...Tom and John.

The lack I have felt in both friendships, tho, is that neither of them have
really seemed to vibe with me on those top two chakras...the one where the
enlightenment stuff sits...and so there has been a large and important part
of my full self that hasn't got much play there.

And I have noticed that as contrast.

Anyway, I haven't put any specific WISHING about that into play...with
these guys or anyone else, really, but simply vibed once or twice a day on
FRIENDS as a deep WANTING of mine...nice and easy...no worries...no sweat.

Just like I like to do. :o)

So a week I had dinner with Tommy for the first time in several
months...and Tommy felt the buddha beams, and was deeply moved...and soon
enough we were doin some diving and soarin yes we were.

And last night, John and I got to hangin in the parking lot after work. I
had always felt that John seemed DENSE somehow around metaphysical /
spiritual stuff...and wasn't sure what that feeling was about. I, as is
my custom, had shared myself pretty freely with him without being obnoxious
about it, and had never gotten anything back when I did...so I let it go.

So last night, all of a sudden, out of the blue, John tells me that he was
an alcoholic many years ago...and that he stopped drinking and started
going to AA...and got deeply involved and became a speaker and the whole
deal. He admitted that he'd been hiding his pathwork from me...and that he
had felt like letting the cat out of the bag many times...but just wasn't
ready to do it.

And all of a sudden we were diving and soaring...two bruddahs on the
pathless path, finding each other in a whole new way after being deep
friends for three years. And because he was such an AA guy (he doesn't go
anymore, btw) I was able to tell him about my OWN passing through that part
of the path, and my Enlightenment Anonymous vision...and not only did he
understand...he grokked.

We stood in the parking lot for an hour as I told my stories and he told
his...and I went home SOOOO full of joy, so blissed out.

And I didn't even REALIZE what had happened just a week ago with Tommy till
I started vibin on what had just happened to John

I think I'm gonna order another hot fudge sundae. I'll take a wee bit of
kahlua in mine...we'll hold it for Johnboy.

If you want it and have a sound card, indeed - sound *abounds* on the internet.

On egroups, (abraham-hicks@...), there is a "talk" button there. Yes, you can talk with
your own speaking voice on-line to the entire group that is assembled there at the time. Of
course, if there is no one else there, you will be talking to yourself. <g>

You can now meet someone on egroups to TALK with your own actual voice,
just like a telephone, or chat in a chat room with typing. Your choice.

But you knew that, I have posted all about this before.

My vision is to line up enough subscribers here to meet at a given time to easily, energetically,
and financially support an actual session from Abraham from Esther Hicks. I have not contacted
their office yet, because I don't know how many would be from this email group to show up at the
site, be there on-line, and support this financially, just as a workshop is supported.

It could be a new way of making a workshop, world-wide, and without any travel
and hotel expenses. GREAT for everyone concerned, especially for those not easily able to traverse
the continents to get to a workshop, and there are several here in that place. We get to hear
Abraham, ask questions, and get SOUND answers, right here and right now, instantly no matter if we
are in the UK, Italy, South Africa, Denmark, Korea, or you guessed it, even the U.S., coast to
coast. ....And we have folks on this email list from ALL of those places right NOW, by the way.

This teleconference could be moderated, and actually come with video, as video conferencing with
sound!

I have email copied this note to the Abraham-Hicks Office. I don't even know if the Esther would be
interested it this, but who knows! That is part of the What if in my subject line.

I need to get some real numbers! I need to assemble a large enough group to "test the waters" first
with audio only at egroups with ourselves here from this list. * PRIVATE EMAIL JUST ME * if you are
interested in meeting at a given time for a test. I say this keep the list free of logistics
traffic. Just hit reply (-not - reply to all, please), and let me know. We'll go from there to
places not before seen or heard!

There are about 215 here on this list, (last I checked), and are 82 on egroups server now. My dream
is to get at least 80 to support a live teleconferencing session. (Assuming that Esther is
interested in this, of course.)

Read and follow the instructions that return from egroups.

You will need to become an egroups member.

fill in the blanks, (they don't ask much),
and pick a password, enter your email address and your IN!
That's it.

Just do some exploring to find all the features. Note: Egroups does
not underline click-able links, for some reason. If the words are blue, just
click on them, and you will traverse the site.

It will take a few moments for the chat channel to set itself up on your
screen. When it does, you will see a list of people in there "live" ...that is...
**IF they are at the moment you check it.** Check on the hour, exactly.
That is "hereby" the default time to check the chat room here.

Next to the Chat button, you will see one for TALK. Go there and see that you will
just have to download and install a simple plugin for your browser to operate the TALK
feature. Simple, really, it just takes a couple minutes. The rest is easy reading to operate
this feature. You WILL need a microphone, of course, to talk, but not to listen.

My children all know their GRANDNESS. They came here knowing this. I
watch the baby as he walks through life just expecting things. He has
no words yet (he is 14 months old) and others are beginning to say, will
he ever talk? HE IS ALREADY TALKING. He is communicating through his
vibrations, COMPLETELY. Others feel his communication for they always
seem to know what he wants/asks but they have no words for it
yet...........YET.....no words for what they feel (vibrations). But
it's all coming together so nicely! We all accept the baby being
SELFISH! REGAIN YOUR SELFISHNESS! And then watch your world turn upside
down and watch ATI scrambling to give you happiness and all that you
deserve.

I was observing the children yesterday, as we were all out romping
around. The little one (baby) was busy searching, experiencing,
touching, exploring, very joyfully, I might add. The older ones were
busy interacting with each other. BUT NOT THE BABY. When he wanted
interaction he went to the others and said (vibration) Hey guys - Here I
AM - I AM wonderful, GLORIOUS, LOVING SPIRIT - PLAY WITH ME - I WANT TO
PLAY WITH YOU! Wish granted! HE EXPECTS & DEMANDS IT! HE EXPECTS &
DEMANDS IT! Can you hear that?

What do you EXPECT and DEMAND? Do you expect to be joyful every day?
Every minute? Do you expect more money, love, happiness?
EXPECT/DEMAND. That's where it's at!

Where are you?

WHERE IS YOUR ATTENTION? What are your core beliefs? Here is where is
gets simple. What are you living? This tells you what your core
beliefs are! HA!

I live in a place that is filled with love and light and laughter. I
EXPECT and DEMAND this! I live in a beautiful place with animals that
share my joy! I live in my own dream world which has manifested because
I DEMANDED and EXPECTED IT! Yet I sit here dreaming even bigger and
better from where I stand TODAY!

I expect and demand to eat each and every day. CHECK
I expect and demand to be joyful each and every day. CHECK
I expect and demand to have plenty of money to do the things that I

Hi, Carla,

I see rainbows in the clouds often. I've usually discovered that other
people cannot see them as clearly as I can, although they usually can see
something unusual about the light in the sky there if I point it out to
them.

Can't say as I've ever seen individual clouds separating the colors of the
rainbow before, though! Sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing this. I'll
keep looking.

Way cool!!! There's a green hummingbird that has come to my window twice in
the last week -- he (she?) just hovers there looking in then flies away.
Didn't even know they lived in TX -- first one I've seen since I left
