I haven't heard of this, unless it is communication from people that
have died to their loved ones still here on this plane. Is this
something different?

The problem is that all this, how fascinating and interesting it may
seem, does not help us very much in our present life. Speculations
about this may lead to feelings of loss and longing, which I read in
your text. So I have great respect and sympathy for Abraham's advice
to concentrate on getting the most possible love, light and laughter
from our present physical life.

I agree, I do feel that concentrating on THIS reality (with a ton of
great VR's thrown in) is the best choice for myself. I don't spend too
much time going back there, but I do think about it every once in
awhile. It definitely had a big impact on me.

wonderful, and then I just mine the moments for nuggets of joy.

Ah yes! How we feel! That is very important. I think the beliefs are at the core though because if you don't believe in what you are practicing then that sort of stops you dead in you tracks... but to really move forward there has to be a feel to it. The emotions (positive emotions) are always the key.

Amazing. Ask & ye shall receive. I asked for clarity on this matter of how to follow my bliss, and still make a living. How to be here with myself & my lovely home, all the cleansing & clearing & cleaning I am feeling so lead to do every day & how do I still create plenty of income to pay all that needs to be paid & that I desire in order to have the life that I chose.

I've been spending all my time waiting for something really BIG to come along & what has really come along is me not recognizing that I already HAVE IT!!! I HAVE my answers already. I was just REFUSING to look at them! All along, I have known I was making this shift in my life and in my
consciousness as well. I knew I was stepping out in faith and in trust. I knew I truly wanted to start following my bliss more of the time. I wanted to feel more energy and enthusiasm in my daily working and to be excited about what I do to bring money in. The answer was & has always been to do what I'm good at - to TEACH! to teach spiritual classes, to Teach/facilitate groups, to network & to promote, to write, to allow my creativity & artistry to flow. It's all been here, all along & now, I'm finally listening. I realize this may not make much sense right now. Ahhh. Such perfect words. One of the best things I've done for myself is
starting to tithe to myself. I give myself money FIRST, I give myself love
FIRST, I give myself joy FIRST. Now, as I thrive, those close to me thrive
as well. That's prosperity!

Hi everyone...I have been on this list for several weeks. I have hesitated to post because my writing skills leave much to be desired (I have this on the U side of my placemat) and you all write so eloquently and with such skill.

In response to Adrienne:
I don't call it tithing, I disagree with that concept, but whenever I get money , especially unexpected money, I take a bit of it and just drop it on the sidewalk somewhere, or put it on a parkbench, or throw it out the car window. Sometimes I feel guided to put in a particular spot. I have even attached little love notes to it ie; The Universe cares, you are loved ect.
I let the Universe decide who will find it and for what reason.
I have so much fun with this it gives me such a feeling of..I don't know, expansiveness-is that a word?? anyway it feels really good.

It is so wonderful having all of you out there..I feel like I have come home!

I just did a search on resistance and came up with a bunch of great posts. One of them prompted me to a question. Abraham says 'we want you to get so good at imagining it that you don't care if it ever shows up.' I'm at the point where the imaginary creation is great and I enjoy it so much that I go out of my way to make time to imagine it. But I still want it in my reality. I still want to have it be a constant rather than just the time I dedicate to imagining it. How on earth do you make that transition? Clearly I still have the 'need' for this to happen.

I do have to say that I experienced a major release on one of my 'needs' which was to summon a specific person back into my life. My IB actually set the tone for it through a dream. I'm still not really clear on why it chose to do it this way, but my IB sent me a feeling in my dream about this person where I woke up and felt like I didn't really care anymore what happened. It was really weird. At first I thought it was me seeing the future of it and the desire being gone because what I saw wasn't as joyful as I thought it would be. But a day later, the joy is completely back and the 24 hour reprieve ended up giving me the total release from it happeneing. That 24 hours where I totally didn't care if he ever came back because I saw that it may not be as great as I thought was a gift because I don't care if it ever happens. It would be nice, but if he never arrives, I am totally fine with it. Someone else will arrive in his place.

Hmmm? Maybe I've just answered my own question about releasing resistance. I'll have to read this post when it comes back through to me later. Maybe my thoughts will make more sense to me then. LOL. As usual, all of your input is greatly appreciated!

Of course, you could tithe to me or anyone else on this list, but since
we can only beare in your experience only because you are a vibrational
match to us, you may as well keep the money!

I've realized that when I am truly in harmony with what I want, signs that it is coming start showing up all over the place. I don't even have to try to make them fit! They are so obvious that they take my breath away (for now that is).

Today, I decided to check out the abraham workshops and tapes. I'm at the abraham-hicks site and click on workshops. The first place on the list is the state where someone I've been wanting to see used to live! Boom! He's on his way!

I hit the page down key and the at the top of the page is Arizona... my top place for a vacation I really want and perhaps even buy a home. It's on my want list for both the home and the vacation. It's right at the top of the list too!

I scroll down again and walaa! San Francisco! I've been wanting to go on vacation there since 1996! But for some reason arizona is now at the top of the list but san francisco is SECOND!

I am convinced the universe is speaking to me! It wants me to know that I've been heard and my order is on the way! What a rush!

A most fascinating experience! I am fairly new to Abraham, but as I understand them, on one hand they say that there are lots of different levels, places and life styles in the nonphysical world. On the other hand, they discourage us from dwelling too much on that, but rather to concentrate on living and enjoying our life here to the fullest.

I am reading the chapter 'the ancient law of prosperty' where catherine explains about giving one tenth of your income to church OR 'spiritual work or workers' or to the spiritually enlightened causes that have helped you grow spiritually. Well, I don't go to church. The causes that have helped me grow are seth, abraham, elias, and email groups such as these. So how do I give or 'tithe' as she calls it in this case??? King Midas asked for all that everything he touched to be turned
to into gold.


His asking was answered and all that he touched became gold....
including his children, his food, his water, any surface that he touched,
etc. He got his desire and, by it, lost everything else that was important
to him and necessary to his life.

Had he said" I want all that I touch to turn to gold...or the
Highest Good",
then his own higher perspective, Inner Being, Source..would have been able
to look at ALL that King Midas wanted, ALL that he held as precious and
important...his tender love of his family, his need for food and water, for
the feel to the thick bed underneath him, for the furry feel of the court
dog, for the silky brush of the Queen's soft hand upon his cheek, etc,
etc,.etc.

Then, his asking for gold could have been woven into the tapestry of
this larger picture of his desires. Midas's inner being...able to see his
highest good, the higher perspective, would have contextualized it as part
of a manifestation that beheld all of his many wants in harmony.

Many times in my life I have "allowed" that I wanted the Highest Good to be
manifest, and, on a number of extremely notable occasions, the thing that
manifested was incredibly greater that I would have or could have known to
ask for...an outcome that was a miracle in its bringing together of the
essence of my desire with a much greater vision of fulfillment.

Hi Marcia,

One of the ways a sound differs from a thought vibration is in the changes of the wave due to the calibration of the medium the wave of vibration passes through when it comes out the throat.

The thought vibration . Is it a particle?. Perhaps. If this proofs to be the "happy medium" so be it.

actual way that vibration effects matter. How do the vibrations between
the spoken thought and the unspoken thought differ?

Thank you for your response, but I was not really asking about which
creates reality - thoughts or whatever. My question was involving
vibration....how does the vibration of a thought compare to the vibration
of that same thought spoken aloud? Is the vibration of a spoken thought
stronger/faster than the vibration of a thought which is simply thought in
the mind and never spoken in words?

My reference to Abraham was simply a way of musing about a possible
connection between my question and what was said by Abraham about how the
Universe listens to us.

What if we're grains of soil in a vast matrix. Some of us are clay,

The living force of energy, I call Source, does not require me to think it..direct experience has learned me this.

Abraham claims , as Connee confirmed in post this week of Hz...Vibrational increases in feeling better perceptions do not take thought to manifest. The better feeling..as vibrations rise on connection...instant, luminous, direct conduit...in the leading moment...it just happens when Allowing is the dominent intent.

Like the cork held under water. Vibrational increase (if that is the way you want to go UP...ie: the deliberate creation of lift in life.)
Once I let myself free..the rise is a natural lift.

I suggest the thought vibrational process has many layers of phun-fillment.

Because words are of my mind...a place of thought....I do want to respond to "script promptings"...words in my head that stimulate experiencing authentic joy.

When I experience authentic joy..it is from allowing myself to receive joy from source...abounding all around and from within. It's not about thinking, too.
