Hi, friends,
Wow, things are hopping around here.
Three months ago, on the way back from seeing Abe in Gaitherburg,
David and I were driving in the car, and we were playing Abe's 68
seconds game, spinning a vision of the "Evensong Broadcasting
Network" sending out a radio show all over the world of Evensong
one night a week. It felt like it was 10 years in the future,
and we would have to build a big studio, and raise and spend a
whole lot of money. And I realized on Sunday, after the list
test of the egroups audio on Saturday night, that we could do it
now, free, on the Net, that can reach all over the world!
Evensong is about to go Online! Since Sunday morning, David and
I have expanded the vision of a Science of Mind based audio
conference, run by volunteer Religious Science Practitioners,
doing lessons, talks, prayer and meditation at all hours of the
day and night, making SOM principles and practice available to
people all over the world who want it, whether they are close to
a church or not.
And the technology is here now, and David has set it up, and in
two days, I have two advising ministers on board who want to
play, and two churches who want to be sponsors, and a marketing
plan in the works, and a vision of how it will work, and 6
practitioners and two ministers ready to break ground as the
first speakers! Not bad for two days work!
The funny part about it is that all of a sudden, I understand
what Abe means about 68 seconds being leverage. This idea is
much bigger than our original 68 second vision, encompasses many,
many more people and resources, has much greater potential for
uplifting the consciousness of the planet, and is ready to start
testing, writing web pages, etc., right now!
I'm still shaking my head with amazement, as I'm jumping up and
down with excitement!
I'm off to Margie's retreat on Thursday, but when I get back,
I'll be looking for volunteers to help with tests as listeners.

I have written into the plan that we will eventually have guest
speakers, (and I have retained creative control of the schedule!)
and I can imagine many of you giving guest lectures on the laws
of the Universe and deliberate creation that would expand the
thinking of SOMers all over the world, too! Write yourself into
this script if you like!
