What a great reminder to us all that we have 'ordered' things from the Universe & as Abraham has said many times,'we heard you the first time'. We don't have to sit there & keep saying " waiter, waiter, when is my food coming? Did you forget? Why is it taking so long? What if I don't like it when it gets here? Are you sure the cook really knows what I want? What if the cook doesn't know how to cook it right/correctly/properly? What if it isn't cooked just the way I want it??? and on & on ad infinitum... ad naseum. If we did that all the time, we'd be banned from every resaturant that we go to. So, maybe it's time to just 'order' what we want, let it go/release it, KNOW that we have it, and get on with our daily lives (realizing that it is OURS!) How about that??? From: "adrienne x" <matrixchickx@...> Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2002 1:36 PM Subject: [Abraham-Hicks] Restaurant analogies I just have to say that I LOVE, I LOVE, I LOVE the restaurant analogies!!!I go into a restaurant and order something and KNOW that it is coming. I may even think about it a few times anxiously awaiting it's arrival... ESPECIALLY IF I'M REALLY HUNGRY. BUT I NEVER DOUBT THAT IT IS COMING!NEVER DOUBTED WERE COMING... my two bachelor's degrees. Honors. My current job. My new car.... this list is VAST. Oh but wait, there were moments duringmy creating of them that I did go into doubt mode a bit. But I got out of that fast and began creating what I wanted as if I had never doubted for a second. Now I will overlay those feelings of certainty over my current desires/wants whenever I go into doubt. So if I have a doubt or moment of uncertainty, I will tell my brain "STOP! WAIT! I ORDERED THIS! SO OF COURSE IT'S COMING! DUH!" And then I will mentally recall the list of things that I previously ordered that did arrive... deliberate creations that is.
