My hint: in case you have some access (tuning voltage) to slightly frequency modulating the oscillator without disturbing its performance, apply a 1kHz sinewave, measure the frequency modulation, measure the result on the phase noise detector, then measure without FM, and apply some math (don't look at me) to the reults.
