Bowick like Pozar does seem to distinguish between RF design and microwave design... and between those and radio. IMO, they are not the same engineering regimes... and there are important differences.

I don't know if Boswick's book still has mistakes. But 2007, IMO, makes it a little dated for what 'practical' content it adds to Pozar's 2012 book.
Anyway, Pozar's book has more on s parameters... which was the OP, on this thread.
