Thank you all for the replies.
The problem seems to be related to the beam finder switch wich was "always on".
However, I broke the plastic part that open/closes the switch while I was trying to screw it in place.
I have tried different glues but nothing worked so far.
Is there a replacement or fix that has been developed for this issue?
