My son has acquired a 494AP marked to have Option 9. This option does not seem to appear in available manuals. Have others encountered this >> option?

Hello Bruce,

The option 9 increases the low frequency display range down to 1 KHz by replacing the included standard cable
with a special one, Tektronix part number 174-1338-000.
