this is a very late digital scope, with multiplexed front panel controls, and 4 vertical channels. I have (incredibly) the tek user manual, but what I NEED is a cal manual, as this unit is out of calibration. It's very handy (although not too fast), so I'd like to hang onto it for bench use here, but I really need to adjust it properly, right now I have about a 20% vertical deflection error. very annoying.
it is surprisingly noisy in the digital mode, but does have print capability, store and reference and lot of nice features. the fan is noisy, that I have to fix. weirdly, it is the only Tek scope I have seen that DOES NOT have a lighted graticule, even though the CRT has one.
anybody that has a service manual or cal instructions, I would really like to hear from you! it is not like the 2214 at all, so that unit won't help. nothing on the tek site, and the only document I have found on the web is the same user manual I already have. rats!
all help appreciated!
