"Golden" foot Tek4xx

What happen to the guy that could manufacture Tek4xx series back feet (or cable supports). Any orders were made/fulfilled?

Jim

My offer to resin-cast them got buried in the noise from the 3D printer wannabees, and nobody expressed any actual interest. ?No orders, no offer of a loaner foot to use as a plug, and hence no new feet.

Regards
Jim

There is a guy in California working with Reed to model various parts, including the golden 4xx feet.

?

Ron,

?

I met with Reed last week (really nice guy with a large scope collection).? He gave me some samples to model.? I completed the first one, which is the cap near the 4xx handle.? I am going to bring it over to him next week and get his feedback.? He also has the ability to paint them to match the original greenish-blue color.? I'll send you pictures.
