Type J plugin? [1 Attachment]

Well I never.? That looks for all the world like a 1A4.? The 1A4 is specced at 28MHz at 5mV/div, and 50MHz at 50mV/div, so maybe they couldn¡¯t get the provisional type J spec and had to downgrade a bit.? Sort of like the 585, which was originally intended to get to the magical 100MHz, but had to be downspecced to 85MHz.

Here's the scan; I'll see if I can upload it to the files section.

Has anyone ever heard of the Type J plugin? I was paging through an old catalog and two tentative specifications fell out of the back. The first was a 4 page spec for the 647 scope, which did make it to production, but the second was a one page spec for the Type J, which doesn't appear on any of the usual lists and repositories. Did it ever get past the prototype stage? It's dual trace, 35Mhz, 5 to 20 mV.

I'll scan it tomorrow and post it.
