Type J plugin?

Dave

Has anyone ever heard of the Type J plugin? I was paging through an old catalog and two tentative specifications fell out of the back. The first was a 4 page spec for the 647 scope, which did make it to production, but the second was a one page spec for the Type J, which doesn't appear on any of the usual lists and repositories. Did it ever get past the prototype stage? It's dual trace, 35Mhz, 5 to 20 mV.

I'll scan it tomorrow and post it.

Definitely interesting! (Along with the Type V).

Is the 647 a 6" scope? What sort of specifications does it have?

Don Black.

The 647 series was short lived because of the release of the 7000
series.

Nope; this is definitely a letter series-type plugin.? It looks like it was the predecessor to the 1A(1,2) plugins.

Couldn't upload to Tekscopes, so I've added it to the?Tekscopes2 file area.
