Hi Anand:
?? I know of no source for the safety box as used on the 576 cure tracer.? For many years I had this box as spare parts but they have all been used until there are none left.?I have never used the box with my 576 and have never needed to have one.? I use the 576 with only the low voltages but when I need the higher voltages I use test leads and caution knowing that these voltages can cause shocks and death.

Hi all,

I got a 575, 576 and 577 about two years ago, one by one, as I wanted to have
the full range of Tek classic curve tracers (well, I am missing the 570 ;-) ).
Of course, the 576 and 577 came without the safety box.

Well, some time later, one person came to my workplace for a temporary stay and,
talking about old equipment, he told me they had, in his work lab, one safety
box... used for decades as a card holder!!!. So he asked for it and I got the
unit for free. It has some breakages and so it is not pristine, but is complete
and still working. My plan was to use it as a template to manufacture a
compatible unit with my CNC machine... of course, it is just one of the 1000s
projects I have in mind (and now I am very busy with this:
)

But if there is enough interest, I could move it up the queue :-)

*** BTW, DEANE, I have tried to contact you by direct e-mail about some parts I
need for my 496, without luck so far. Please, if you read this, could you send
me an e-mail to eb5agv@... ?. Thanks! ***

Best regards,

JOSE
