Any suggestions for using a Wavetek 2002B sweep generator as a tracking

Any suggestions for using a Wavetek 2002B sweep generator as a tracking
generator with the 496P?

They are not really compatible, since there's no way to synchronize the
Wavetek's sweep to the spectrum analyzer's. The Wavetek is intended to be
used with a broadband detector such as an HP 8471 series crystal detector.

About all you can do with a sweep generator is use MAX HOLD, and be patient
while the trace points all fill in.

Or FleeBay it and get a TR503 in a tm502 or 503 PS.
