Tek 491 Spectrum Analyzer

tekfreak09

Hi
I have recently acquired Tek 491 spectrum analyzer with a bad C input
local oscillator. The Oscillator is for the high band input and I
suspect that it is a small ceramic triode which has gone bad.I have
checked all heater and anode voltages and all seems to be OK.The rest
of the instrument is operating well.

The manual states that the part is designated V42 with a TEK number
154-0510-00. This does not tell me what the real part number is.
Is anyone familiar with this part and would they have some idea where
I could get this part from? I contacted Sphere Electronics but they do
not know this part number.

Can anyone assist?
Cheers
Jon

You could try to find 119-0108-00 which was a direct replacement in
S/N's below B270000. Both items were also used in 1L40.
