Heya Jared!!

Funny enough I just started soldering my tester last night!!!

Can you tell us the changes you made since the last version???

Hi!

No changes to anything important regarding design or construction.

I made the test report a fillable form so you can type in all your test results directly to print a nice report rather than printing a blank form and hand writing the values in.

Also a few spelling corrections and changing the layout of paragraphs a little to aid readability, oh, and I made the diagram of the rotary switch bigger too.

I kust used my tester last weekend to test some power mainframes to sell them off, and took the chance to do some 'quality of life' improvements to the document is all. :)

Let me know how the form goes if you use it.
It should 'just work' in Acrobat etc, but I'm interested to know if it is all good on someone elses computer (i.e. if the font doesn't do something weird).

Jared.

Sounds good!
(I¡¯m glad it wasn¡¯t major.)

I¡¯ll def let you know??

¡I¡¯ll say one thing¡
This project has def given me insight on how Tek mounts the face plates. Huge pain in the rear!!
They should have just made the screws external!

dc

Yeah, the older types with the hidden screws are a right pain in the bum, and the countersunk screws puts outwards pressure on the plastic right at the thin corners which makes the corners crack worse than they otherwise would.

The later design with the screws accessible from the top and bottom panels is much better, stronger all round and you can remove the front panel without completely disassembling it...

Let us know how you go with your build. I'm interested in seeing how people find the construction and use of it. :)
