7L13 Works! Interested in a TR502

Interested in a TR502 and cable to pair with my functional 7L13
Also would like original manuals for both

Haven't seen these for a while now.
I recall... even used...they were pricey... everyone "needed'' a TG.
And you need an external counter... to 1.8 GHz... which isn't cheap either.

AFAIK... nothing special about the cables... just 2 50 ohm 28.5 inch coax.

Manual is available on Tekwiki.

Another expensive option is a TR503, and a 49X or 279X
But of course, that's not a 7000 system.

IMO... not worth it... just for a scalar measurement.

You could try the "Test-Equipment-For-Sale-Wanted-or-Exchange" group.

Hi, TR502 is rather expensive even as an used instrument.

There is one TR503 on eBay. (I know it is not the same thing).

Too expensive for my taste.

But there is also tracking generator that is made by DS Instruments.

Unfortunately, the Tek equipment is not listed as a working environment. But maybe it can be adjusted in some way to work with 7L13.

It is not cheap (around 600 USD)? but it is brand new.

Another option is to build your own.

Mr John Miles KE5FX also has its own TG design.

I hope this helps.

With kind regards, Josip Luetich
