Re: Opinions on TDS400 Series Scopes?
You need to really think about what you want to do with the scope, and how much you are willing to pay for it. TDS400 series are in the wave of Tek's second generation DSOs. They were still learning

Re: 2440: GPIB
Actually the software's free from http://www.ke5fx.com/gpib/7470.htm . I was using a 2430A when I wrote it, so it's definitely compatible. The last three plots on the page at

Re: Sony/Tektronix 318 manual with full schematic
I'm missing part of A02 board form the schematics, it is necessary to follow two signals that differ between 318 and 338. Can anybody provide the full schematic of the 318 logic analyzer?

Re: Opinions on TDS400 Series Scopes?
I'll add my .02 worth here, so here goes. I personally like the TDS400 series. I bought a TDS460A scope off of Ebay some time ago cheap, and I thought I wouldn't like because it only had the 100MS/sec

Re: Tektronix 2465 Ch2 dead
Hi Guys, I found the problem: took apart the divider and scoped the waveforms. The CH2 signal did not even got to the first resistor! The wire from BNC connector was in the air "just a touch" to the

You want each probe's ground connection to be as short as possible and as close to the ground point used by whatever device is driving the signal to which each probe is connected. I was just curious
