Re: location of the 50 ohm resistor in the attenuator of 2245
Hey Neil,
I believe the 50Ohm resistor is in the top left corner of this picture:

Re: 152-0536-00 hot carrier diode
Since it's being used as a frequency multiplier, I expect it's a step-recovery (snap-off) diode. If I had to improvise, I'd try a varicap diode because I heard that they have some step-recovery

152-0536-00 hot carrier diode
Anyone know if there is an equivalent for this Tek part number, listed in the TG501 parts as 'Hot Carrier, 4V' ?
It's used as a frequency multiplier to generate the 1nS markers from the 2nS signal. My

What leveled sinewave generator are you using, and is it adjusted and calibrated?

Correction, I am only referring to the 2465 scope.
I incorrectly mentioned a 2245 which I do not own.

Hi Dave,
K100 has been part of my life, IMHO one of the most disruptive motorcycles in the history. I suspect that someone in BMW understood that the boxer was much less expensive to produce and then

Hi and thanks, also for the fix!
I gave up with motorcycles, I am too old now to risk¡ but the K100 will be one of my best memories ever.

Thanks Andrei!
I would¡.! But finding it it is not easy, and however very expensive.
IMHO, the most interesting part of the 7104 is the MCP CRT.
You can find a description of it in the draft of

Tom, I should have included the PS details in my first post. (I know better, too¡) So, the +125 is sitting at 124.66v, and the ripple is 2.01mV to 2.10mV via my Fluke 289. Interestingly, the

Hi, we found very limited functionality on opt 10, and used it occasionally. We used a gpib to USB adapter.
Did you check tekwiki, and Vintage Tektronix Museum?
