577 retrace problem
My 577 displays the retrace problem. I changed C581 in the 177 supply and four resistors R552, R554, R556, and R558 (all 4.3K, which measured between 4.7K and 5K), but it did not make a difference.

elusive 463?
I seem to have found a board from the elusive 463 scope by comparing to tekwiki front panel photos. Does any other scope have a button marked "lock knobs"?

Re: My 2465B has arrived + A5 Board leaky caps cleanup
For what it's worth, the power cycle counter, and on time counter are meant to be reset after every calibration. They are there to let the technician know how long it has really been since the last

Re: P6105 Probe
Thanks Dennis, and everybody. I stand corrected, all these years I thought I had the 3 meter one. I never measured it, it just seemed long. I measured it today and yup, about 6 feet. Everyone with the

Re: My 2465B has arrived + A5 Board leaky caps cleanup
Gentleman, Thank very much to all of you for all the information provided. I managed to get the scope screen back to life by replacing the two 10.0K 0.1% resistors (R2012 and R2013) in the DAC

Re: Anyone have a 5.5 to 18PF variable ceramic trimmer they would like to sell
Thanks for looking. I don't think I'm going to be able to get this thing fixed though. I already spent money on new caps and bridge rectifiers and its still suffering the same issues. I'm very close

I just checked. I have several NOS of the exact same trimmer (ceramic dielectric) as used by Tek. As said, cost would be postage but shipment from NL. Raymond

Speaking of Harbor Freight, I bought some 275 pound (IIRC) rated casters there a few months ago for my workbench.? Maybe there's a way to replace the casters on a rack to beef up the weight
