Re: 7D01 with DF1 for postage
Warning: The pods and connectors that go into the 7D01 look exactly like those on the 308 Logic Analyzer but unfortunately, they are keyed in the opposite direction. Not sure about the connections

Re: 7T11 sampling timebase - how does it behave?
Dennis, Spoiler alert: The 7S12 uses the internal trigger signal that the S-52 delivers into the 7S12, not the incoming signal. Absolutely, and if in the same mainframe as the 7T11, same as above:

Re: 7D01 with DF1 for postage
Hi Daniel, FYI The 7854 is extremely versatile and it will accept virtually every 7K plugin, but it cannot digitized some of the most unusual signals you can display in a 7K scope because the

Re: TM500 / 5000 Extenders - should I make more?
Hello Dan, I may suggest an improvement (maybe it is or not) It would make the extender more easy insert and be retained into the TM500/5000 if the TN00 side of the card had holes/dimensions so that

Re: 7T11 sampling timebase - how does it behave?
I wouldn't say I have had any more success with the 7S11/7T11 since Raymond posted his first comment on this subject in spite of all the things I have tried to do to replicate his results. But I

Re: 7D01 with DF1 for postage + $4
Some people responded, so I looked up the rate and it's higher than earlier estimate. I came back with higher rates and no response from them, so please help me with spring cleaning and claim

Re: 453 calibrator
Hello Fabio, Regarding the calibrator probes on the 475 and 453 -- I am aware of the difference you state below. But given that the 453's loop is meant just for current, I still curious to see some

Re: 7T11 sampling timebase - how does it behave?
Hi Raymond, I'm a few years older and you see the result! The true rise time is indeed shorter than the rise time read from the screen, not longer. A stupid mistake, probably also because I had in

7D01 with DF1 for postage
It weighs 8 lbs, so I can pack ship for $16 to US destinations. No probes. Sort of worked 15 years ago -- sold for parts, not working, no return. Have 2 of these.

Re: Tek 577 sells for $256 on eBay
Craig, did you wind right to the edge? If so, how did you keep the wire from sneaking past? If not, what did you use to fill in the edge? When I rewound my 453 HT, I wound to the edge, laid a bead

Re: 7T11 sampling timebase - how does it behave?
Hi Albert, It may be old age (only 67), the hot weather or just plain stupidity but I'm stuck with two things at the moment: If the sweep runs too fast, I'd say that actual time is *shorter* than

Hi Dan, I think I might be in the market for a couple of these, in my case probably ready-built, as I am unfamiliar with SMT (surface-mount technology). Of course, it would be useful to know the

Re: Tek 2465A/B back cover
I've just repaired one with some methylene chloride solvent, which "melted" the plastic. That also worked very well on a Tek 1502 case. Have a look at some "plastic repair" "glues".
