Re: 465B Focus Troubleshooting
I have 2 Triplett meters, a modern telecom one model a telecom specific Local Loop Tester Model 4, and a really old one, a 666R.
That high voltage the model 4 has is used to apply 45-47 volts to a

Re: Tek 2247A [SN B029000] Recap and diode part list ?
Ting,
With all the component replacement I did on the secondary sided rails, I was not too concerned with the P-P. I did measure and record them both before and after replacement, but I did't know

Re: UK practical help with pulse generator
Interesting.
My new variant will have a external input and a internal RC schmitt trigger relaxation oscillator. The external inputs will be unterminated, 50ohm to ground, 120/82 ohms to Vcc/Gnd for

Re: UK practical help with pulse generator
I too have a variant of the NC7SZ14 fast edge generator. Mine follows a 28MHz DIP crystal oscillator so the rep rate is fast enough to use with a7T11. It is air wired with SMD components directly on

Re: Tek 2247A [SN B029000] Recap and diode part list ?
Since the focus of interest is line noise ripple, I used the bandwidth limit switch and HF reject triggering to damp out most HF stuff. Using the Line as trigger source should also help.

Re: Tek 7K plugins available - spring garage cleaning
Ed, Congratulations
The 7J20 is indeed as rare as hen's teeth. Fewer than 100 were made, and
more likely it was only 50. It is a real oddball plugin of interest to a
very select group of chemists or

Re: What is the function of Q3005 in the TM506A?
Hi David,
Thank you for your reply. As I said before the problem is in the partly connected Q3005 Transistor. TM5003's and TM5006(A)'s have the same Transistor, but differently connected. On this

Re: TM500 DC505A power problem.
There are several screws & standoffs that allow you to disassemble the sandwiched boards. They are visible from the left side.
You need to remove the knobs and separate the faceplate first so you can
