Re: Cleaning nickel-plated adapters and input connectors? Magic formula?
Hi folks, ? Thanks for the silver cleaning advice, particularly to Chuck Harris for the Tarn-X suggestion. ?In the end, it was more elbow grease rather than magic that got my adapters cleaned.

Re: OT: WD40 depressing experience
Of course I have the occasional attempt to zap myself, just to remind myself not to do it again. My latest was in a professional power amp - transistorised, but capable of 600W per channel into 8

Re: Which Tektronix Signal generator?
Hi Azzy, HP characterizes the 8656B as the least costly of an "economical" signal generator line. Note the top frequency of 990 MHz, 10 Hz frequency resolution, and -127 dBm minimum output which are

Re: Sony/Tektronix 308/318/338 serial interface protocol
Well the 318 and 338 has a serial interface, as in serial port. Tektronix recommended to be connected to one of their terminal machines.

Re: Sony/Tektronix 308/318/338 serial interface protocol

Sounds like the deWalt battery powered drill I bought a couple of years ago (in the UK - so subject to EU safety). The "manual" has all the hazard warnings embedded through the instructions for use.

Re: Which Tektronix Signal generator?
