Re: Feet was 7704 power supply
Much easier, but I'm getting hopelessly anal as I get older. It's those little bumps that retain the power cord; they're a nice touch and impossible if you machine them direct. You could get something

Hi guys, Isn't it better to continue that 465-feet discussion in a new thread? Albert

Re: 7704 power supply
Hi Tom, It is not clear who you are talking to with your 3D drawing request, but my offer is limited to a simple dimensioned sketch of my simplified 4xx feet only. Mike asked whether the material was

Re: 7704 power supply
Maybe design one more like Tom's part. That might be much easier than the original Tek part and work just the same. Tom M

Re: 7704 power supply
You could 3D laser scan a good one. David Laser Scanning software was free, don't think it costs much now, and it's pretty easy to build a laser scanning rig for it. Then 3D print your feet, something

Re: 7704 power supply
One of the projects on my queue is to reproduce these using a urethane rubber. I'd expect to sell them for around $20-25 set. Of course, that assumes I would actually have time to do something about

Re: 7704 power supply [4 Attachments]
Can you produce a 3D drawing that one could put out for bids for an injection molded part? How many different scopes were these feet used on? I wonder if they could be made for say $20 a set? I have

Re: 7704 power supply
Wow Tom, those are superb. Is that Delrin? I was lazy, for my 475A I just turned some flanged spools and counterbored for the screw. But I can't let anyone see my scope's bum.

Re: 7704 power supply
If the psu is now OK then the diode seems to be suitable. But if you want to be sure you can do two things. Measure with a scope the waveform. The other is rather simple, measure the reverse recovery

Re: 7704 power supply
Hi Ignacio and Tom, Thanks for your reactions. I was hoping that the depolymerization of the plastic wouldn't happen (as fast) with new feet in sealed plastic bags, so I was hoping for NOS. It seems

Hi Raymond, Never say "non-critical" in these Tek circuits! The +5Vlamps is used by the inverter IC in checking the balance between two of the pre-regulated voltages (here +5 V lamps and -17 V). In

John, as I wrote before the 7A29 is one of the needed plugins for me, together with attenuators and terminators that I need. Since the "bargain price" items show around at random, I was asking what

Re: 2465A - Change vertical indicator
Yes, sure there is a x10 coding-ring included in the 2465A. But that was not my question, I need /10 to show ?V/div not a x10 to compensate for a 10:1 divider and I suggest there is no coding for

7103 and 7104 Readout Problems - Consolidation of all posts
I have at least one 7104 that has the "7103 and 7104 readout problem" (SN B043020). The sudden flood of 7103s has suddenly resurrected the issue, so with that in mind, I have consolidated ALL of the
