Interestingly, I needed C-clip pliars, too, to remove the armature from the fan motor in my 453... bought a Craftsman that had a bag of different size pins. Worked a charm. Phil

The manual that I have is three wires. I¡¯m wondering if one is chassis from the case. Time for an ohm meter and check what the resistances are. Two should have the coil between them. One should be 0
