Re: OTish: ROM/RAM bank switching in the 2467 et al.
Incidentally there are some handy tricks in there. As a case in point, the DAC_MSB_CLK and DAC_LSB_CLK address ranges are defined in that order, each 0x40 bytes in length. When writing the DAC,

Re: OTish: ROM/RAM bank switching in the 2467 et al.
Nope, the 6808 MPU only has 4 interrupt vectors, and they're all at the top of memory, from 0xFFF8-0xFFFF.

Re: OTish: ROM/RAM bank switching in the 2467 et al.
Siggi, do the locations 0x8000-0x9FFFF contain interrupt vectors which may need to be modified? That would be the main reason that I would expect random bits of memory to be remapped from ROM to RAM.

Re: Tek 465 Sweep
Dave, EXCELLENT Advice. That "Troubleshooting Your Oscilloscope" document is excellent. The sweep logic loop is the most challenging part of these scopes, for my poor brain at ;least. I had to read

Re: Tek 465 Sweep
Don't forget the wealth of useful information from the TekWiki site. Even more to the point, the 465 has it's own repair section: https://w140.com/tekwiki/wiki/465/Repairs When sorting out how to fix

OTish: ROM/RAM bank switching in the 2467 et al.
Hey y'all, I've always been curious to peep at the firmware in my Tek scopes, so for giggles I installed Ghidra and pointed it at the ROMs from my 2467. Snooping around a bit, while reading the

Hugo, To follow up on Michael's excellent advice, I have also seen socketed DIP ICs in a 475 (very similar to the 465) where the pins have become tarnished in the socket and are no longer making

Hugo, Once you get that LVPS ripple under control, I would take a close look for the presence of the various signals coming into and going out of the "A & B Sweep Generator Circuit". This is schematic

Phil, I have been repairing 475's lately, so I have been using the discs from E-bay. I really like the "standoff board" concept and I will contact Barry off list to see if he has some of these boards

I think the examples shown by Rehorn are too nice. The signals are periodic and exactly an integer number of periods fits in the sampling period. He must have made use of that information to arrive at
