Re: 2213 Main Power Switch Removal
Phil, Try dribbling some isopropyl alcohol into the switch and working the actuator. This has freed up many switches for me. Then lube. Rick

Re: 2211 Service Manual Needed to Find Knob Part Number
Dave's part number is correct and Sphere has a few new ones in stock. The Sphere 366-0636-00 picture matches the knobs on a 2210 I have. I don't know what the story is on the 2210, 2211, 2212, 2214

Calibration equipment, inexpensive function generator
Recently bought a function generator board from E-Bay. Range .01Hz to 3 MHz. Timing accuracy is excellent, they claim +/- 5 PPM, square wave rise times are < 100nS, waveform is only fair, but, it's

Re: Tek Probe Question
I'm not sure if anyone pointed out that this is backward. Also, the P6056 is not a very good general purpose probe, due to its cost, fragility, and high DC loading. Take it out when you need it, use

Re: Sources for shipping cartons for vintage Tek scopes?
Hi!!! Another FREE source for very heavy boxes is new water heater shipping boxes... Stop by the local pro plumbing supply house and ask about them... The plumbers often ask their supplier to remove

Re: Tek Probe Question
Another option is to make your own 50 ohm probes. They are not as hard as you might imagine and a lot less expensive than buying a Tek probe. I have made lots of 10X, 20X and 100X probes for my 50 ohm

2211 Service Manual Needed to Find Knob Part Number
I'd like to try and find a trigger knob for a 2211 but the (free) manual seems rarer than snake suspenders. Anyone have a manual or a parts list? Maybe another scope uses the same type of knob. It is

Yes. Sorry about that. The other Tek Application Note everyone who owns a scope should read is "The XYZs of Oscilloscopes". You can see why it is easy to mix them up. Dennis From:
