Re: Covering material quantities
Your post suggests thet JC recommended Air Tech and Loehle. He DID NOT. Clement #10 has the same issues I.ve experienced on m y W10. Serious cracking on many areas of upper surfaces. My W10 is dacron

Re: Covering material quantities
Before deciding on Stits I suggest you research some of JC's comments on covering.? Save yourself a lot of time with AirTech or Loehle systems.? Results are excellent.

The W8 fuselage drawing shows tube centerlines. The W10 drawings show outside tube dimensions. The Baraboo? W10's were built from W8 drawings with penciled in changes. I measured the cabin dimensions

Re: Elevator pushrod
I made a lot of small changes in the elevator controls. One major one was to use an idler which allows two separate tubes. The idler requires a larger fuselage cross tube to mount the idler fittings

Re: Sheet metal questions
Since this is the last time I¡¯ll build anything most likely, I wanted to press the easy button just once in my life. I ordered a new Titan O-340 which was delivered in June after 18 months on order.

Re: Sheet metal questions
Thanks everyone for the advice. Matt, I just dumped a bunch of pictures on the EAA builders log thing. I've been meaning to do that, but hate messing around with the computer and loading pictures etc.

Re: Elevator pushrod
Thanks Matt for the steer to your builders log. Great help! Question, is your fuselage from VR3? It looks exactly like mine.
