Many of the Lycoming parts manuals are available online free of charge. For items such as the carb to airbox gasket, for an 0 320 just search Piper PA28-140 carb to airbox gasket. Enter the part number on Spruce online catalog and you will find it. For 0 235L series use Cessna 152.

Yes, I made a little "pouch" .? I don't remember exactly how I did it but probably covered the drain and accelerator pump bottom with packing tape and just laid fiberglass over it.? I don't think I had any interference with the filter.? Mine fits tight enough that I had to swap the drain plug from the new carburetor, that had external flats, with the old one that took an Allen wrench.

Thanks Mike,
I never thought about that.? So you essentially just made a little "pouch" that the bowl drain and accelerator pump "sat" in?? Completely covered rather than just using the fiberglass and epoxy to form a tight "seal" against them?? Did you also have to deform the edge of your filter a little bit to fit?
