¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYes, acknowledged . . . but here¡¯s the problem:? If one hasn¡¯t updated his password in the timeframe Groups.io wants, a log in attempt is rejected, and to recover/renew one¡¯s password Groups.io requires 2FA to deliver a code to insure the log-in is approved by the right person (me in this case).? Groups.io does this only through the app ¡°Authenticator¡±.? I could ty to set up another account with Groups.io, but they will then tell me an account under my email address already exists, and then request a password ¨C which of course I have, but its ¡°use by date¡± has passed, which is the original problem.? So I¡¯m stuck right back where I started, unless I want to let Authenticator mess with all my accounts, as it seems to be all or nothing with regard to what Authenticator grabs and sets up with 2FA ¨C unless I¡¯m very much mistaken, which is possible, of course, but I don¡¯t see how.? I already have all the 2FA set up for all my other accounts, but not with Authenticator.? I don¡¯t want to uproot all of that.? A gracious soul from our Tailwinds group (Dan) has sent me a file containing the compendium, and I think that¡¯s really all I want for now.? Thanks. ? ? No, two-factor authentication is not required for Groups.io sign in;?it is an optional feature that you can enable to add an extra layer of security to your account, but you can still log in with just your email and password if you choose not to set it up.? Key points about Groups.io 2FA:
