Hi Mike
The access to the
ports is a problem under all Win NT, 2000 and XP versions.
But it will work
under Win98. I use that myself.
So WVK and voice messages should work.
Please make sure that you have the
latest WVK. There was many bugs in the
older versions. There is also a nice
troubleshooting guide if it still
should fail.
I must admit that I do not know XP. Just though that there
was such a
possibility also. Perhaps another adjustment tool?
Voice
keyer under pure DOS only works with SB cards no clones no matter
how
compatible.
Keep me mosted on progress.

1. of all: Thank you for your answer! In the Moment it's
too hot

Ist
there a PIF Editor under Win XP? A athlon 2400+ should be fast
enough.

I tried to use COM Port (Port 1), but I wanted to use LPT1,
my
mistake. I use Port 2 now, TACLOG does not hang, but:
PTT and CW do
not work. It must be a windows problem.
How is it under windows 95/98? I
have another old laptop, P133,
that is dedicated to our contest crew
DK0ALK. Will it work?
I never get Voice transmissions
working...
Only Soundinterface 1 worked, but only da dit dah on the
speakers,
no wav-files...
CW would be fine, if keying will work.
Perhaps I have to try DOS-Mode
on the old P133...

TACLog FAQ.
I did not find an answer there...but still great logging
soft.
