Although I¡¯ve sent out individual email receipts for the TAAS dues received so far, I thought I¡¯d double the acknowledgement by listing our current dues paying members here. Our current members are, in order of opening envelopes: Leslie B, Amy S, Jay D, Max M, John N, Jeff D, Dot M, George B.
I will continue to send out receipts and if you don¡¯t get one after a week or so of sending your dues, please let me know.
TAAS dues can be sent to me, made out to TAAS or Thames Amateur Astronomical Society for $15. Thanks.

I came away with the same thoughts, George. More data, mom!! And now I want to learn more about Enigma Labs.
You can see I am not going to get anything useful done :D?

Nova tonight - UFOs

Hi All,

I just saw this... on TV, PBS, at 9p.m. Eastern, Nova will be airing a program on UFOs. Hopefully they will be presenting some of the latest information released by the government.

Enjoy,

Then there was me coming to the picnic not even knowing I had the dreaded C word. Even though I wore a mask all the time except when shoveling food.? I just didn't know and still always wear one. Even meeting friends at Barnes and Noble Caf¨¦, we were the only 3 in the Cafe wearing masks - including the Cafe staff! Plus,? I don't or can't drink.

All,
It appears that Thimble Islands Old Saybrook location is closing permanently. Any suggestions for an alternative venue?

Re: January TAAS Monthly Meeting Minutes

Thanks, John.?
I added the dates to the TAAS Groups.io calendar. ?They are:
Saturday, March 29, 7:30 pm
Saturday, May 31, 8:30 pm
Friday, Aug 15 with?rain date Aug 16, 8:30 pm
Friday, Oct 24, with?rain date Saturday Nov 1,?7:00 pm
Also, I believe Deb has added them to the NSN calendar.?
The events are at the Miegs Point Nature Center at Hammonasset Park.?
Usually the Friends of Hammonasset publishes a poster. If they do, I¡¯ll post it to the club, FB, Stars to Stem, etc.?
Mark

Re: January TAAS Monthly Meeting Minutes

Mark, so quickly and concise. I have no corrections.
One question though - where do they take place and what are the Hammonsett /ASNH dates??

If they're only maintained on the ASNH NSN Calendar and not on the Groups.io calendar,? can you please include a link to them in the minutes?

Thank you!

John
