As expected, the conditions last night were poor. Seeing was bad as was the transparency here in Quaker Hill. However, I took the time to set up and felt obligated to look at what was not hidden by trees. I grabbed about 25 Messier objects, a few NGCs as well as Mars and Jupiter over a two hour period. Tonight looks similar, but I¡¯ll wait until dark to decide whether to bring the stuff in or give it another go.
