Looking for Barient 22 self tailing 2 speed winch

 

Fellow Tartan Owner's,

I recently had a winch explosion on my T28 that resulted in several components sinking to the bottom of the lake. I know this is a T27 site and I might be living on the dark side with my T28 but it can't hurt to reach out and see if anyone has a line on a Barient 22 self tailing, 2 speed winch or parts for one?

I see model 23, 21, 19, etc on eBay, but no 22. Maybe they're visually
similar enough to be acceptable for the level of aesthetic you're going
for, and comparably functional?

Scott just discovered that the mounting footprint for the Barient 22 winch is the same for the 21 and the 19 so that opens up the possibilities for getting a replacement.

We also have lost and are in need of repairing the side window screens and are looking for the manufacturer of those windows.

Beckson made the windows for the T27-2. As of a few years ago they still stocked the parts.

I concur. Beckson still does sell the same ports. According to the salesman at Beckson, they supplied them. But double check the size; we replaced all 6 not long ago and the size we had was not what they said we should of had. Ours are 5 x 12.
