Hi! We have our 1978 T27-2 on the market #662. She is listed on Long Island Craigslist and Sailboat Listings. The boat is mostly rebuilt from centerboard up. She will need sails at some point, but serviceable for now. We bought a bigger boat, so we are motivated to sell, as much as I would rather keep her. Eagle is still ready to sail, as we plan on sailing her on Thanksgiving weekend. Fred Liesegang Eagle #662

Yeah, the group.io transfer from Yahoo groups seems to have picked up all the photos, messages, files, & probably databases.
What the groups.io transfer process did NOT copy are the attachments to any emails (so possibly links and definitely photos/files).
As owner of the group I have found that I have been made owner of a lot of pictures that have been "orphaned" by a retired user.? If you find photos of your boat that say they belong to me (Caleb Davison) I believe that you can copy them to your own folder if you wish.
Thanks for looking into this.? You never know when we might need to use a plan "B" if the next corporate sponsor burps.

I was stuck in a hotel room for work last week and saved most photos going back through 2015. If someone else picks up the project starting in 2014, please indicate such. I also grabbed a lot of the documents that pertain to me (Tartan 27-2).?
I'm not sure I'll be able to do a bulk upload when all is said and done, but I can certainly setup a dropbox. |

That is exactly what groups.io promised:? email attachments will not be ported to the new platform.? An unfortunate circumstance brought on us by our friends at yahoo who abandoned us. No doubt there will be other peculiarities as we look more closely at the details. ? For one thing, I am now the "owner" of a lot of photos posted by members who disappeared.
I know it is not perfect but should be far better than what yahoo envisions for their groups section.
