?Thought everyone might enjoy a few photos of our 1967 boat after about 1 year of ownership. Just launched last weekend. We are restoring from the bottom up, as opposed to the more traditional way, of the top, down. The 2 new coats of two part polyurethane Interlux Perfection, in flag blue, looks good from about five feet away. We might put one maintenance coat on it next spring, which is equivalent to 1 quart. Now that we have the knack for applying, it will probably come out a lot better. The transom is now teak with 12 coats of Epifanes spar varnish and gold lettering. Next year comes the deck paint, cabin exterior and the cabin interior which is already at least 50% re-varnished, with 8 coats high gloss Epifanes. Then odds and ends as life goes, on, like maybe a teak and holly floor etc.
