Re: prop question

Thanks for the reply!

I need to order the prop tomorrow to get it in time for the haul-out, so I'll go with the Cambel Sailor...lower drag apparently...and no customs and shipping hassles as its local.?

Tearing out the icebox was a six hour job...but totally worth it. I knew it was huge, but I was still amazed to see it out. We had to take apart the trim around the top of the companionway to get it out of the cabin!

Basically it was tabbed to a couple bulkheads in 3 places...hard to get to, but the tabs were quite thin and easy to cut (used a 6" grinder with a cutting blade...zip...done.) Now we are building a big mahogany plywood? box to use as a pantry...will hang it below the deck in the old icebox space. Will also put in a 32" long cooler sitting laterally (parallel to the bulkhead).?

Can't believe how little insulation there was in that ice box. Will finish epoxying in the leaky outside access hatch tomorrow.

Lots of chores to go, and we have to be out of our slip by May 15.

Sounds like you are in a good place!

Cheers,
Marty
