Mike McDermott of Gloucester, MA converted his T27 yawl to electric (EVAmerica) about three years ago. He has an electric wind generator for battery charging on his mizzen mast. How cool is that? See

I'll try to find them in post them in a few days. It was really
economical as long as you weren't trying to motor long distance. Even
then doing a diesel-electric made good sense.
