T-100D Mariah Club [email protected]
This group was set up to provide information about the T-100D Mariah ultralight designed by Eugene "Gene" L. Turner. In 1982 Turner Aircraft ventured into the ultralight aircraft arena with the Model T-100 Mariah. Mariah is a light weight airplane designed to meet the needs of pilots who want to fly, but had no FAA flight physical or who could not afford to fly certificated airplanes and those who wish to fly a true ultralight. The T-100D was designed to meet the requirements of the USA FAA FAR 103 Ultralight Airplanes. The airplane has twin tails, pusher engine, three-axis conventional flight controls, tricycle landing gear, steerable nose wheel, and an enclosable cabin. With the resurgence of interest in the T-100D Mariah, Gene has approved the start up of this group and has named it the "T-100 Mariah Club".
Since starting this Club, Gene decided to bring the T-100D Mariah back and make it available to the flying community once again. He has selected Ken Adams, Jr. this group's moderator, to purchase the design and support this new effort. Ken looks forward to working with all members and those interested in building and flying their own Mariah and to experience and enjoy Gene's "fabulous affairs with aircraft!"
